Admissions FAQ

No. PECA is a tuition-free New Mexico public charter school. Applying and attending are free.

No. We have open enrollment. Any New Mexico student in the eligible grades may apply regardless of academic history.

If we receive more applications than available seats, admission is determined by a random public lottery. Students not selected are placed on a waitlist in lottery order.

Applying expresses interest and enters the lottery if needed. Once a student is offered a seat, the family completes registration to finalize enrollment.
